AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS
NEED OUR HELP

The government shutdown affects hundreds of thousands of Americans.

Here’s what’s at stake: health care extensions that Democrats are fighting to include in the continuing resolution. Without them, health care costs could double or even triple. The Republicans are not willing to negotiate and they don't care about the impact of shut down or health care.

We need to push on more than one front -- getting the health care extensions included in the CR and protecting the folks impacted by the government shut down.

Those of us near one of the world’s busiest airports know people working at O’Hare International Airport — and they’re feeling the impact.  A government shutdown adds unnecessary distraction to their work, adding strain on a workforce that is already stretched thin working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, operating the most complex airspace in the world.

Illinois’ U.S. Senators and our local Congressional members strongly support the National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA) — but not all members of Congress do.

👉 Take action:

Visit the NATCA site to send an email to your Congressional representatives.

Then click HERE to email Transportation Secretary Duff, House Speaker Johnson and Senate Majority Leader Thune.  Tell them to negotiate with the Democrats.

Together, we can help ensure that the people who keep our skies safe are supported — and that health care extensions remain in place for all.
