ICE IN Chicago

Protest in the suburbs

For those who do not or cannot go into Chicago, then let’s show those who are going into the city that we don’t want ICE in Chicago. The commuters are not the problem - but we want them to know that there IS a problem and that there is a large, strong suburban community who doesn’t want Chicago militarized.
Pick a train station in the suburbs. It would be great to have multiple stations covered all the way into the city.
On a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday early morning go to the station when commuters are going into the city. You can go in the afternoon or throughout the day - but the biggest number of commuters will be in the morning.

YOU CANNOT STAND ON THE PLATFORMS AND PROTEST.
THIS RESTRICTED PUBLIC PROPERTY FOR SAFETY REASONS.
DO NOT BLOCK COMMUTERS - OR GET IN THERE WAY.
THEY ARE GOING TO WORK AND
WE NEED THEM ON OUR SIDE!
STAND ON PUBLIC SIDEWALKS AND
GIVE PLENTY OF ROOM AND BE SAFE.
Show your signs.

Don’t engage with those who think National Guard will help Chicago.

Be polite to commuters.

Be safe - stand away from the tracks, of course. And don’t keep commuters from getting onto the train.

BE PEACEFUL. BE CALM. BE SAFE.
