We Can Lead Change is gathering signatures to solicit Home Depot concerning the ICE raids, both local and across the country. ICE has been targeting Home Depot locations where day laborers—many of them immigrants—gather to seek honest work. It has been reported that the raids are chaotic, violent, and sometimes deadly. ICE agents have reportedly used tear gas and conducted mass arrests, often without clear consent or probable cause.

Home Depot’s response so far has been silence.

We call on Home Depot to take a public stand against ICE’s targeting of immigrant workers on their property. Please review and sign the petition to ask Home Depot to:

   1    Prohibit ICE operations in or around its parking lots.
   2    Protect the safety and dignity of all people seeking work on or near its premises.
   3    Issue a public statement condemning these raids and reaffirming its commitment to human rights and fair treatment.

Petitions will be taken to several local Home Depots to discuss with the management their stand on the above asks. We will also send copies to their main headquarters.
