Many times women do not know how the justice system works in cases of sexual assault. Supposedly 1 out of 4 women are assaulted, but based on the people we have spoken to as We Can Lead Change prepared for the forum, the real number is far higher. We have learned 63% of assaults are not reported to the police.

Victims can be young and vulnerable, they may be undocumented, rich or poor, scared in their own home. This forum is to find out how to empower women and how to navigate the justice system.
